1955 P4 Rover 60
As a life-long Rover enthusiast I was recently asked to look over this car after the owner died and I have offered to help his family find it a new home. I have no financial interest in the car.
It Has been off the road since 1977. In 83 it had some engine and brakes work and new front wing in primer. I think the body was preped for respray but not done hence the considerable surface rust. No spare wheel door. The seats and carpets in poor condition. It has not been moved and I have not been able to assess the chassis or under the bonnet to check the engine work was finished.
It has a complete timeline from the dealer in Bridport, first owner in Leicester before coming to Hampshire in the late 1960’s (buff log book and Blue V5). There is some service history.
The car is near Portsmouth and the family are putting the house on the market soon, but would prefer that it went to someone who would restore it. Sensible offers please for the family.
