Reluctant sale due to long wait for knee replacement. I have owned this Rover since 1969 and it has always been kept in dry storage. The engine was completely rebuilt with new pistons and rebore,new white metal bearings and crank regrind,new rocker shaft and bearings, new clutch rebuilt water pump,brake system overhauled including new shoes and drums skimmed. Petrol tank recently cleaned of old sediment, hand made stainless steel exhaust system. Body repairs include all 4 doors having bottom 6in rebuilt with new metal, all this work carried out approximately 50yrs ago. Engine restarted last year and ran fine. Body now needs its respray and interior refitting,

You need to clean the entire canister using a non volatile parts cleaner solution then allow it to dry completely before applying a heavy oil to the mesh. I've used Gunk engine cleaner and KN filter oil with good results47p2
